Run, dogs, run!

Last Sunday we took Lux and Julian to the local dog park and, for the first time since we adopted Julian last year, we let him run off leash. Just for safety's sake we put his old muzzle on (we're not sure how he'd be, especially with small dogs, and we're maybe a touch overprotective). I think next time we'll let him go muzzle-free.
I wanted to take some pictures of the dogs in flight so I could post them here, but shortly after we let them free, Julian broke one of his toenails and was bleeding all over the place. He's fine, of course, but he was pretty much done running for the day.

Now with the weather as beautiful as it is, we'll take them out more often - we're thinking Lux should stick to the dog parks and Julian will be good to take on hikes.
