The dogs

The poor dogs have been plagued by fleas since we've been here. We have done everything we can for them, but the problem has just gotten worse each day. We'll have to take them in to see the vet on Friday. The owner - who lived here directly before us - said that she has not experienced any kind of flea problem, which is good, I guess. That means that the situation may be controllable. At the moment, however, the dogs look like anthills. It is really gross, and I feel just terrible for them.

Other than that, however, they seem to be enjoying themselves. There is no place where they can run free, but there is plenty of wildlife to interest them when we go for walks. Lux loves to look out of the windows where, thank goodness, she does not bark at squirrels. Plus, since Bronwen is working from home, they can spend almost the entire day roaming freely through the house. The lower half, actually. The beauty of the spiral staircase (a purely circumstantial beauty, by the way) is that the dogs are not able to come upstairs. No more stolen underwear or socks!
