Hooray! I am now an official and legal resident of North Carolina! I used my spare time wisely for once and got my driver license. It isn't a big deal, really, but it feels big because it is just one more loose end that I've tied up. Two, actually, since I registered to vote at the same time.
Tonight we're going to go to the library and get ourselves some library cards and then, once I have accrued some petty overdue book fees, I'll finally feel at home.
